So skidoo website is a little glitchy and leaving a bit of speculation on my end. Does the 600r have smaller jugs than the 850 or what makes it about ten pounds lighter, looking at the SP models?
are the 2.5 146 and 154 tracks both 3.5 pitch"
Its not even letting me pull up the models now, is there a freeride 600 if so how does it compare to the SP. Do any 600s have the expert spindles?
thanks

From what I gather:
The 146 and 154 are 2.86 pitch. I checked a 146 Freeride and was bummed about that. No Freeride 600. Bummed that you cannot get a 600 in anything better than the SP chassis. I am sure that the SP 600 doesn't have the updated spindles.

I think the 600R Summit now comes with the improved spindles . The new ones are noticeable different from previous . There is a weight difference between the 600 and 8s , some manufactures say there's no difference but the is . 10 # is noticeable in certain conditions , you'd think it was 50# the 146 track was only like 2.5 compared to the longer 3 lug . Some claim (me) that the longer tracks are more than what a 600 can churn in certain conditions , it does it but its making that 6 work . Lots of options

Yes it has the new spindles, thinner bars and low mtn strap, and is lighter and much lighter feeling, it sells in lower numbers hence it is not offered in as many options but the 600r sp is a great sled for a great price with the updates, cheers dave
