600 & 800 Etec Owners Please Help

I'm working on a project for college and am in need of some accurate dimensions for the 600 and 800 Etec motors for a project I'm working on. I don't need the dimensions to be perfect right now. Just close so I can get an idea of how the engine will fit in a chassis I'll be designing. If you would please take the time to get a couple measurements for me, state which dimension you've measured (A=,B=,etc) and for which motor I would really appreciate it. I know I've left out the engine mounting positions but this isn't too critical at the moment. Thanks for your help!

I'll try to get some of this info off my sled ('11 800 Etech) but the problem I'm gonna run into is the motor is pretty much buried in plastic and hoses and wires and frame. But I'll see what I can do for you.

See if you can go down to your local dealer and get some measurements off of a 800 r or 600 carb models. The dimensions should be really really close as the motor is basically the same except for the injectors on the head. The E-Tec will taller but everything else should be the same.

Your picture is good, but a little confusing for me. So to be clear I'm going to give you the measurements I was able to get without taking the whole front end of my sled apart by using your letters and a short description. These will be close but not exact.

R (Injector on top of head, front to back) 2.5"
G (Injector on top of head, side to side) 3.75"
F (Injector Body, side to side) 3.25"
S? (Bottom of block to Top of Head) 15"
Head (Gasket to Top) 1.75"
I? (Block, front to back) 8"
T? (Intake, Block to Air Box) 6"
Drive Clutch (diameter) 9"
B? (Block, side to side) 12"

I couldn't really accurrately measure the rest of the values on your sheet, too tight in there. Again, these are close, but not exact. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope this helps.
