hi. I got a 96 formula sl with a 503. now I bought the motor with a bad cdi. got new cdi and got spark. while waiting on cdi, I put new piston / ring set in it and deglazed the cylinder walls. now with all back together with new gasket set and first time starting it, will not run. why? when pulling over Just as much air that goes in the motor comes back out of the carbs. there no reed valves. Its a piston port. I am getting frustrated with this. any help would be gladly accepted.
