I have 3500miles on my 16' M8. Sled ran great all last season, we had alot of deep WOT days. When is everyone doing top end rebuilds?

I would say its prob time 3500 mountain miles is quite a bit on original pistons. I usually go 2000-2500 and only use OEM parts.

3500 is the time to pull them and put OEM back in.
you will need a new base gasket and 4 head O rings
also is a good time to check and or change reeds.
If you have a scope you can pull the hood off and tape the throttle open (with the sled off) and look into the reed blocks.

That's impossible, ask anyone in the Doo forum and they will tell you a Polaris could not possibly go that far before blowing up. Who knew!
^^^ this guy is obviously riding one of the more disposable sleds that require a new topend every 1200 to 1500 miles. This is also the same chassis you need to replace the cracked bulkhead at the footwhells at the same time as the top end.
