Pondering getting a 22 or a 23. Looks like I can get a 22 for about $3k ish cheaper than a 23. Would a 23 be that much better than a 22 with some suspension add ons?

You can't go wrong with a 22 so it boils down to what you want to do. If lighter weight, narrower body, more hp (if you go turbo), and the redesigned skid and 3" track is worth the extra money to you then go for it, but you'll be happy on either sled.

My opinion- I would not even consider a 22 after seeing the 23.

I think the 23 will be better in every single way- Power, suspension, handling, and overall package refinement. No amount of mods will make a 22 what the 23 is.

goride is 100% correct. The changes, refinements, upgrades are HUGE. You have to look hard to find them, because Skidoo marketing really sucks, but christopher posted it all. Most. I asked him for some more and he gave it to me. The 23 is a completely different sled. I am excited to get a ****ty winter refresh and get ours!

Enjoying my 2022 Expert Turbo 165, but if I had known the Gen5 was coming out I would not have snow checked a 2022. Is the Gen5 worth the ~20% price increase? Well that is up for debate as the 2022 Turbo is a very capable sled that will serve me very well. Will I be snow checking a 2023 Gen5.........probably :ROFLMAO:

Being I got the raptors ace which is less weight than stock and getting maptune. I'll have better suspension locked out same power with the tune the only thing I'll wish I had would be the narrowed up body. With that being said I'll stick with my 22 for a couple years. Maybe by then they won't be so damn ugly lol.

The 22 is a great sled. I'm seeing a price difference of 4k for a 22 and as much as 6k for used 21s with only a 1000 miles. Pretty good deals considering you can get extended warranties for about $1200.00. Keep in mind that probably 80% of the people buying a turbo aren't capable of even using that sled to it's full potential. Hence, don't be afraid of buying a good used or left over sled. The average Joe is gonna tell you how great the 23 is, but I guarantee there's gonna be someone on a last years sled whooping his ass on the hill.

I would get the 23. Only issue I would have is knowing after market parts might not be available for it in time for winter.
