Very interesting. But I'm thinking with 7" off the tunnel and boost, most people will want a pro! But ya weird to have a 155 chaos but no 165 boost
yeah I have brought the pro back into the mix again, I was 100% set on the khaos. now it's a tough call between them. but boost either way.
Any info on warranty?
2 years on the boost models instead of 4

Awesome release... two observations LOL

The name is sooper fookin long... Patriot Boost Pro RMK Matryx Slash Khaos. Shoulda called it the Poost Wagon or somethin.

And 20k. Ouch. I just sold my 2019 850 for $8500. By the time I pay taxes it would cost $12,000 to UPGRADE from my extremely capable 3 year old sled. I get it, its a 190hp (at 10k ft) factory mod sled with warranty... but holy smokes, thats a pile of money.

Props to Polaris though, they really raised the bar. 9lbs of boost really blows my mind. Looks like they did an incredible job of "mountainizing" the Matryx as well.

I am a full Doo guy, but if they can back up that video, delivery and reliability, then they are going to own the market. But: Polaris engine. 9 pounds of boost. Hmmmmm. Better sell them with low miles.

In the snowest vid the Polaris guy says around 8.5# at 10,000'

In the launch video they say it weighs 20# less then the other stock turbo sled on the market.

What does the RMK 165 Turbo weigh?
the specs are up on the site now, shows it a 447lbs for Boost and 424lbs for same without boost (still slash).

So 23lbs for adding a turbo. obviously not including any additional options either, so if you add e-start, add what...another 20lbs?

Good thing you've got the boost :)

What are you DOOing over on the Poo section. As you know my 2019 made it 3,800 miles before a ring let go and took out the piston. And let’s just say I’m not easy on my sleds. With that said I’m hearing Polaris has 8 years of R&D on the 850 NA’d and 8 years on the 850 turbo. Could be wrong but I think they’ve got a damn good motor.

Now, to be fair my 2019 crank oil line did come off (item fixed in 2020, too much case sealant used) and I lost my PTO seal (again issue fixed, believe they pinned the crank?)

That 850 motor has been pulling around 170hp at sea level for years. Now they make it pull a reasonable amount more hp (190 ish hp) at 10,000’. Point is the motor / power train is designed for the area of 170 to 190 ish hp... now we just have sea level hp, plus some at 10,000’. Not like the proven motor is now asked to handle 225 hp. Anyway JMO...

All the dealers I know found out they had run out this morning when they turned the computer on and saw their inbox.

……..
This is what's coming :

Matryx chassis
7s display with smart hand and thumb warmers
New helmet that can communicate with the display and other sleds with same
narrower seat and tank
short tunnel option
turbo (priced at 20k minimum)
heated brake lever
new shock packages
plenty of BNG to choose from
Almost every option will be snowcheck only

850 NA is going under the 400 lb mark

and of course that is all just my BS guess!!! looking forward to the first of March .... Can't wait to see how far off I am!
Pretty close….
