This thing bogs a lot. What rpms is this supposed to run at? 8350 is tops for it. The bogging seems like it is not back shifting correctly and it gets stuck in high gear. 340 miles on it right now. All complete stock

7950-8150 is the optimal range. What RPM is it bogging at? What kind of snow conditions is it bogging in?

Snow conditions do not matter. I just got back and I saw 8500. Also I could nail it and it would jump up to 8400 rpms for about 2 seconds then it for some reason drops to 6950 and stays there until I let off the throttle then nail it again it will jump right back to 8350. If I do not let off the throttle holding it to the bar when it drops to 6950 it will stay there until i let off.

So it is over revving. Do not know anything about cat clutching. Does someone have a fix or a video of some sort. I have always had Yamaha.

I bet you have 70 gram weights in it. That’s stock according to my dealer. Supposed to be good for 6-8k feet. I wanted to try some 68s but they were unavailable from Yamaha in December, probably still are. Unless your dealer went to the Cat side I bet you have stock weights.
