Well it's a new year and we are off to a slow start. We have been getting a little bit of snow 1" to 2" a day here and there. Every little bit helps. We made this jump last week. It is a start for more. Got out yesterday for a ride. It was a beautiful day. With more snow on the way next week we should be looking good. Hopefully we get enough snow at the parking lot so they can start the grooming program.

Thanks much, Steve. That "2 footer" that we've been looking for might be coming in late week. Should cover things up nicely. Keep dancing, bro.:p

Apologies as not sure where to ask. Can anyone recommend a reputable person/organization for Tahoe area snowmobile lessons? I’m considering purchasing 2 and really want to be sure I know what I’m doing and getting into before I invest. Thanks in advance.

We got 6" to 8" of new snow last night and today out of this storm. Great snow to. Matt we might be able to help you out. I have a 2012 Pro that I let people ride. We need to get the road gromed before I can do anything. Shoot me a PM with your number.

I would go to the general forum and ask. Already sent you a private message.
Depending on money best thing to do if you have no JETSKI , QUAD , motorcycle, off road experience is to do a road trip to West Yellowstone , Island Park , SLC or anyplace where they have various types and brand sleds you can rent and have a separate paid quide to take you out show/and teach how a sled works. Go to a paid riding clinic with Amber Holt , Chris Burandt, Brad Rassmussen etc. Learn sled and your capabilities.
If you have off road experience go to you tube look up snowmobile riding techniques from manufacturers , Skidoo , Polaris etc. and shops people like Chris Burandt , Amber Holt shops like NXT LVL. Good luck be safe, know the rules and enjoy

We found some awesome snow today day. It was deep and fluffy. I just got word tonight from the Forest Service that they will begin grooming operations soon . That’s some great news.

When it snows we ride. We got 6 inches here at the house. Pretty much Sierra cement. Up top we found some great snow. We found a foot or more in snowblowing areas. With the warm temperatures coming better get out and enjoy it.

Got out Saturday for a ride to the Black Butte. Instead of being February it was more like spring riding. We still had fun though. We got new new snow yesterday but only a couple inches here at the house. We need a big dump soon.

Had A great spring ride in February yesterday. Snow is hard in the morning But softened up in the afternoon. Groomers being out grooming some trails are nice . The 07 roads getting real thin up to Perrazzo turn off. First pic is backside of English mountain. Second pick is Lake Fordyce.
