Hopefully you guys will actually get the WE Needle shocks and not just the clicker shocks like what was offered previous years.....

I'd be keeping the paperwork that states you ordered the WE needle clicker shocks.......

I did the same thing. All I could get out of them is if you want color options you can snow check. They did not understand what I was asking at all. I think maybe need to hire people who actually ride snowmobiles

I hear ya... and the website said the same thing till a few days ago...They updated the site.... It was a 'type-o' on the needles according to the brass as polaris industries.

Your sled will be delivered with NON needle comp adjustable needle shocks, with 1/2" shafts.

Even if your paperwork says needles... you will not get those on your sled.

There will be no recourse for you when your sled arrives with non-needle shocks... The small-print in the contract allows them to switch specs.

If you dealer says that you WILL get the needles because their sources tell them that you will get them for sure... and this is just "internet nonsense"... ask them to put it in writing that their dealership will guarantee that you will receive the needles. I'd like to see that paperwork if they do.

But anyway.. Here's some info for ya.

From March 6

From Today... "Needle" was corrected on the website.

Many of you had questions about the IFS-shock (Ski shock) lengths.

For the 2019 AXYS-600/800/850 RMK sleds, all that have the 37" wide React™ front suspension...

IFS shocks... 2019 RMK chassis
15.95" extended
10.25" Compressed
5.7" Stroke

Does this spec match up with anything on the market now? Fox, Raptor? Poo, Doo or the other one :)

Of course not!! :frusty:

I see a few 16" shocks (on Yami Phazer maybe....) but all with shorter strokes. U suppose we are going to have to go to aftermarket A-Arms just so you can use a more normal 16.5-16.75" shock LOL....

Might not be the end of the world but it's huge. 3/4" changes more things than you think. The 3/4" changes ride height, rider input, weight distribution and the list goes on. Every change alters everything else and steam rolls from there.

I ran a longer Assault shock on one side of my AXYS Pro while the original shock was being repaired. I ran the AXYS original spring on it and I honestly could not notice the difference even though they are about 3/4" longer than stock. Once adjusted for ride height it was only a bit less travel that was the result.

Get the standard WE shocks and have them revalved at Carl’s. They put Fox internals in them and they work great. You keep the light weight of the mono tube shocks and they are very good when revalved. I will add the 230 mid weight spring on the rear track shock because I weigh 220 or so without clothes. I had that combination on my 16 and it was perfect.

Any word on if the bottom a arms are stronger?
Arm Candy A-Arm Braces still fit on. This tells me that they are the same except they are shorter and then they experience less leverage. If you want to be safe rather than sorry, you can add the braces.

They come natural or black anodized. The natural look good as the tie-rods are natural too but the anodized seem to hold a little bit less snow. Your choice.

2019 850 Pro Rmk A-arms

just got my 2019 850. and It doesn't look like they are any stronger. Here is a pic with my 850 with Mountain Side Products offset spindles. 33.2-35" ski spacing. I heard Mountain Side Products are working on billet A-arms hopefully they will be avail. before I bend these like my 2016 (those lasted 2 weekends).

Raptor 37R on 2019?

Is the Raptor 37R a-arm kit a direct replacement for the 2019 React a-arms or was it designed for the longer shocks on the 2016-2018 front ends???

No, you will need the longer shocks for the Raptor 37R.

Shortening my floats

Hey all , I read through most of this thread , but I am planning to send out my burandt float qs3r’s tomorrow to get shortened slightly . I was running the zbros front end but wasn’t a fan of the added ride height, even with my 1” of sag I was sitting 3 inches higher than stock ride height at the front bumper . Switched to a different a arm and now sitting about 2 inches higher but want to get the ride height closer to stock without even more sAg to do it . The shocks are the stock 16.6 length , was going to just have them put a .5 inch spacer in, that way when I do decide to buy a 19 I can also keep my shocks . Does that seem sufficient or should I have him shorten them right to 16”

Thanks in advance , Clinton

Polaris React 37"

I have read through this thread, good input by all. My question is has anyone put the 2019 React front suspension on a 16'-18' Axys? I have a 17 Axys and was looking to put the 2019 React complete front suspension on it. Was not wanting to do after market if the Polaris React will work.
