Having a hard time deciding, what are the pros / cons ?

Thanks in advance.

My quickest answer would be if you like the feel of a bike buy the riot if you lean at all towards sled type terrain get an aro but really then the aro3 should be considered instead. Unless the riot has major durability issues I predict the std aro won't even be available next year.

Lots of used 19 120’s out there for way cheaper than a riot. My buddy just sold his for 3500 us. Perfect condition. I think those of us who got riots are hoping they will be at least as capable as the aro 120 but more fun and playful. Guess we’ll all know for sure in a few months.

so her its a RIOT PRO, weighs at least 10 lbs less than most of the ARO models according to the Polaris hand book, years back most figured its cost a $100 a lb to loose sled weight, so maybe the RIOT is a $1000 better value ?

For sure I would be going for a riot... you will recover more than that on resell...not counting all the other advantages mentioned ..

Thanks for the input, I have decided to run my camso kit for this season, and then snowcheck a RIOT in the spring to take advantage of the extended warranty.

I haven't had a chance to ride a riot yet but I talked to a pro snowbike racer who has. he said it was fun but his concern was with strength. especially when it comes to big hits or cornice drops. I wonder how the riot will perform on foot plus conditions. with some tuning my 120 Aro has really impressed me in deep conditions (for a 450 st) and it takes a lickin and keeps on ripping. I guess time will tell with the Riot.

I would go Riot in a flash if someone wants to buy my ARO with a little fine tuning to my liking i thin it will be just fine. Extra weight and material do not = extra strength engineering and proper flex characteristics do.
