Hope the regulator is up to the task....
The reason they put the battery behind the seat is that they must have run out of room on the right side after they centered up the engine. Also if you run a heavy lead acid battery it gets all that weight off the front of the sled and helps balance the sled. For $200 you drop 10-12lbs with an Li battery. I have had great luck with Shorai batteries. On very cold days you need to tap the starter a couple times over about 2 minutes to wake them up. I'm also running high comp 872 engines which are a lot harder to start. I love the e start, especially with a hi company bb.
If you are talking about EarthX, they are about $400. The WPS battery is about $200 - at least for the Axys.
