SAW PICS OF MORE THEY LOOK THAT WAY TOO ANYONE SEEN THIS ? THANKS

The idea behind the billet machined 911 clutch cover is to keep the primary sheaves parallel with a sleeve that supports the primary's shaft all the way out to the cover supported by a bronze bushing. The cover also allows you to adjust for belt to sheave clearance decreasing the distance the movable sheave travels upon engagement for a smoother take off.

I think I would chew a hole clear through the side panel with the 911 cover. To the OP, the bushing should only be cracked on the side, not the actual sliding surface.
