It was a great first season for the National Snow Bike MX Series racers!!! It started off in McCall Idaho and went to Detroit Lakes, MN, West Yellowstone, MT and finished off in Boise, Idaho. Round 4 in Utah was cancelled due to lack of snow.
The tracks at the first 3 races consisted of typical MX style corners with a few big jumps and straights while the final race at Bogus Basin was a much longer course with over 400 feet of elevation change per lap. A few more locations will be added to the series next season possibly including New Hampshire, Revelstoke and Bend, OR!
It is an absolute blast to get out on the snow and battle MX style with fellow snow bikers! It's a lot safer than racing motocross on dirt too! I highly encourage any and all of you to participate in at least one race next season! The sport of snow biking is growing fast, I look forward to watching this series grow!
