2016 axys 800 rev limit

Today i went on my first ride of the year and found that my 2016 axys 800 was experiencing a huge performance issue. it idled so low that the lights would flicker right from the beginning of the day. I had no hand warmers and the highest rmps i could reach was 6250. Any ideas? (no engine codes)

check your relays, under the hood up by the pipe, mounted to the cross bar. Inspect, clean the terminals, fill connection with di electric grease... Or Replace the cheap SONG Chuan chinese relay. I bought panasonic relays for mine.

you replaced them (or swapped them) and the issue did not go away? (That’s the only way I know of to “check” them.

other likely culprits.
broken exh valve cable.
broken primary clutch spring (sometimes hard to see until it’s removed)

trashed motor mounts (won’t affect idle but will reduce peak rpm)

Could also be your TPS settings out of adjustment.
