My tether switch has gone bad. What is the easiest way to get to the plug located in the bag near the steer post? I hate to tear about more than needed to get to it.

Remove side panels. take out 2 bolts on side of hood that attach it to the console and remove two bolts by steering post. Then just lift hood and shift it towards the clutch side. Only takes a few minutes and no need to unplug any other connectors
