2012 Etec X 800 slowly getting harder to start

Anyone else have an issue with there 12's starting? It used to be a one pull sled but in the last 100 miles or so its started taking about 5-8 pulls to start it. I am also getting a bit of a stutter at times when pumping the throttle boondocking. It has 500 miles on it.

Last weekend I broke the headlight switch off exposing the electronics and I dont know if its me being paranoid or not but it seams the hard starting got a bit worse. It happens when warm and cold. (and dry and wet).

I also broke the brake sensor off as well.

Not doing well with the handle bar controls.

I also broke my brake sensor & my sled was getting harder to start but I have an electric start with no pull cord on the 2012's! It finally drew the battery down so much that it wouldn't turn the e-start over. We started it with the clutch & when I got back to town I took IT to the dealer. That was 2 weeks ago & still trying to find the problem. Dealer said its electrical short drawing the system to the battery to charge it which leads to stating it! Going there today if I find something out I will post it for you!

I did ask him to check my reeds when I took it in, I haven't followed up on that but I will! Stopped by dealer & waiting still for a new brake sensor. Once its on they will test the system again. Parts won't be here until Wed or Thursday. When I find something out, I'll post.

can anyone think of any other options as to why a 12x with a pull start would be starting hard? The pull cord assembly is also starting to slip a little. I pull it tight and then pull to start and get a pop before the engine turns. Like the recoil is failing.
