THIS IS WHAT SOME GUY FROM HCS WROTE. I DID NOT WRITE THIS OR TAKE ANY CREDIT

Well just got home from Mayville NY where I was fortunate enough to get a nice ride on the new RUSH Pro Ride.

First I would like to thank Bob and Mike Weaver from Bob Weaver Motorsports for the invite!

Second all the Polaris personnel and Casey from 3 Seas for being our tour guide!

The technical stuff.
1. This suspension is something new and will change how you feel after a rough day on the trail. It is sensative enough that the spring adjustments only take one turn to change the ski pressure alot to wheelie machine. The Polaris personnel asked for our weights and set the sled accordingly. They actually have a gauge that tells you where to set the spring for your weight.
2. One of my first doubt was there is not enough running board... Absolutely not the case for me, the ride and handling of the sled did not require me to stand way back on the running boards for any reason. In fact keeping your feet near the front (not in the stirups) was the most comfortable and allowed me to ride like an old man or trash moguls like a sno xer. I think this sled is going to be very versatille for many different types of riders>>>
3. The radiator thing (Technically heat exchanger) is designed heavy enough to be a structural part of the sled, if you puncture this you have more than a heat exchanger problem. And yes I mashed it into a couple of whoops, no problems.
4. The steering, it to me feels like the best steering machine I have been on in a while, you can lean comfortably like an oval racer if you want. When you steer in a direction it goes in that direction. The skis were a powder ski so they were not the final ski but Polaris suggested the keel design will be similar with more carbide. Snow conditions were new loose fresh sno with a good base underneath.
5. Gauge package, love it
6. Motor CFI 2 injector, good power on top, mid range gurgle at 6,000 RPM, shared my feelings with Polaris to be sure what ever motor they use MAKE SURE IT IS RIGHT, NO EXPENSIVE AFTERMARKET PARTS NECESSARY unless a person chooses too. The power is there for sure just needs some remapping to clean it up. (Polaris did right it down on a note pad as well)
7. Fit and finish of body panels and etc were very good......
8. Beaver tail might resemble a REV but it is not, it does not look bad. I did memtion maybe to dress some of the back end up as others suggested here that maybe a number plate or decorative plastic would finish it off nice. Polaris wrote it down.
9. Tail light and brake light, very nice, easy to see LED tail and brake light, good stuff.....
10. Footwells the best I have seen between POO and DOO, big and wide
11. Riding position - very comfortable
12. Handling - this sled tracks straight nice overall handling and with ease
13. Steering effort - firm but not difficult NO IT DOES NOT DRIVE LIKE A FUSION
14. FUN FACTOR -VERY HIGH like double back flip high
15. Weight - not as light as a TNT but not as heavy as my 06 Fusion. A nice in between because with the handling characteristics weight does not feel like as issue.
16. Chassis - feels like a typcial durable Polaris chassis, I think the weight and strength of it are a nice balance
17. 1.25 Ripsaw good as usual, a 1.5 inch track will fit with studs and does not require tunnel protectors... A 1.75 track will fit with no studs
18. Compared to a 09 600 Dragon - definately a positive difference, they had Dragons to follow us with and we traded sleds part way out. The factory Dragons had a well set up suspension but there is a definate difference that feels VERY good.
19. Warranty - Polaris does not have a HOW MANY Years of Warranty set yet..... So I shared with them that if this is a spring order I would like to see at least a two year bumper to bumper at a minimum if not more. I also shared with them the displeasure some of us Fusion owners experienced on left sleds a year later when Polaris was giving away additional warranties as incentative to buy a leftover. I was loud and clear, they wrote it down...
20. Mid height windshield looks good and IS functional. It was 19 degrees when riding for reference... Yes I no not that cold but it appears to work. Low wind shield looks cool.
21. Front hood looks like a modern INDY from the future - I am sure we will be able to buy all those different color screens like we used to back in the day.
22. All around versatille sled - Yes it is
23. Time will tell but this is as close to feeling good about Polaris and having the good old INDY back I have felt in a long time. I think Polaris has something here..
24. Will I buy one - YES (pending they keep the price reasoable and warranty long...

Some background, I got to ride the REV in 2002 demo like others did when skidoo brought them out to show off. I also got to race that demo in a hill x race for the dealer that ended up sponsoring me to ride a doo in 03 for sno x. I remember like it was yesterday how balanced and how nice that rev flew the jumps, it need some suspension work but the chassis was the best thing since slicced bread. There is a new loaf of bread and it slices smoothly...... it's called a RUSH Pro Ride....

For my purchase this year I was down to a Yamaha RTX SE and the RUSH. I think the RUSH just one. No need for another doo as we have one in the garage for my wife. Time will tell but that may get replaced after some more seat time...

Snow conditions were plentiful, 19°F outside, and snow falling, lot's of snow dust, moguls were forming easy, great day for a test ride with 23 miles logged today.

BTW for those who may not be as fortunate enough to ride one, I spoke up for you. I shared with Polaris that if I was not able to ride one I would not buy one. They wrote it down... They built 70 of these sleds, I rode RUSH 35.

A little background about the Polaris personnel, nothing but PROFESSIONAL Grade, they asked on a regular basis if we need any adjustments and what we thought the whole time!!! I complemented them as a factory have the brass to develop a new chassis in a down economy. Folks they care about the snowmobile industry but it goes deeper than just selling sleds, they want to get this one RIGHT and for that my hats off to them!

This is just my personal experience and I am just sharing it for everyone's benefit, so please no rehtoric or bashing. No I do not work for Polaris and have been angry and them and DOO before. I think these folks are heading in the right direction. JUST MY Opinion.

Have a great day.

PS I will try to upload the pictures for another post. Ride right and be safe!!!
