I didn't know Polaris made an RXL in 78.I would give my left nut for a 78-79 RXL. A few pop up on vintagesleds.com from time to time.
Thanks for to clarifiation.Polaris had built a limited number of these rxl's. They were factory sleds and built specially for oval racing.
I don't believe they were injected. Someday I will own one, they are hard to come by and very expensive but well worth the price. Thanks for to clarifiation.
I see the graphics were similiar to the 79 TXL and 500 Centurian I had.
Now were these also injected engines as the 1990's versions were?
Wait. I thought 1980 was the first Production IFS TX-L sleds? I have a 1979 TX-L and it was a springer. It's now an IFS however....And I will ask around here as I know where there a few RXL's at in that year era!
