I believe it to be a 1969. Don't quote me on that though. I'm pretty sure that later models had humungo twin cylinder engines.
Have you posted on the vintage sites? sledshack.com or vintagesleds.com

Hey thanks for the help... that is what i was thinking it was too... but cant really find any info to confirm that other than pictures and the stickers are not the same... looks to me to have the 1965 stickers with the 1969 hood. :confused:

have been just registered for vintagesleds.com going to post there quickly...

you got rep for the help :):beer;

1969 seems right. I almost bought one like just like that a few years back, and it was a 69.

that is what i was thinking too, but the model number doesnt match up with the models of in 69. :confused:

well was just being told on another site that there was a number system mad and it goes like this.

ser# starting with a 5= 1970, 4=1969, 3=1968

and than the numbers after it is the unit number made.

so this sled (30112) that i have would be would be a 68, and the 0112 made. does that sound right to anybody?

That is probably right. Serial numbers will always tell the info, if you know how to read them. Every make and year seems to be read different on the serial number also.

I'd bet your info you got on that is right on though. Either way, hard to come across a sled that old and that complete.
