'18 155 2.6 or 3" ???

Mostly ride hills in UP, sometimes very deep but as a whole a good base with a foot or so on top.

Do a lot of sidehills. Assuming 2.6 is better track for this type of riding?

Also have a '17 163 currently with 2.6 that I ride out west. Far amount of sidehills with a good mix of climbs, etc. 2.6 seems to work well all around. Any gains in going to 3" or camso 280?

2.6" all day. I ride primarily in the yoop with a couple trips out west a year, I would NEVER consider a 3" to go rip it in the hardwoods all day on its side. Jmo but I'd own a 163x2.6 in the UP before I would own a 155x3...

I agree. 2.6" is very capable. 3" is rad but it can be a bit much on the 155, especially where you are.

My cousin and his buddy both bought 155's last season one with a 3" and one with a 2.6" and I thought the 2.6" performed every bit as well as the 3" even in the deep snow. I think it is a no brainer to go with the 2.6" considering where you will be riding.

Another reason to go with the 2.6" is it is geared higher. The very low gearing on the 3" might be a problem for you.

2.6 is an awesome track. Super durable too compared to most. Floats nice too. 2.8(which isn't option trenched hard) I'm on 3" power claw and it's better than the 2.6 imo but I'll never turn down a 2.6
