How much more playful is the KHAOS skid compared to the RMK in a 165 ? I have a RMK 165 and am thinking about doing the KHAOS conversion rails to get the sled to be more playful in the front

I rode 165 Khaos last weekend and have been on a 155 Khaos last year. The 165 Khaos is definatley more tame than a 155 Khaos, for me I'd never get a 155 Khaos but would really consider the 165. I own/ride a 2020 155 Pro Rmk and absolutely love it- I'd never swap it with a Khaos kit 155 but if I were going 163 I'd consider it. Can't say I've been on a 163/5 Pro Rmk. Hope this helps and it's all about preference they all have their place.

I have both 163 Kahos and 165 Pro I won’t get another Kahos. Pro is much better in the tight steep stuff for me. The Kahos is scary for me sometimes when it’s steep. It just depends so much what kind riding you like to do

I have always rode shorter tracked sleds so this 165 feels flat to me, I really enjoy a sled that fells like its right on the edge of out of control , lol. sounds like the Khaos just might liven up this sled for me.
I did the Kaos conversion on my 163 and loved it! You can adjust how playful you want it. All you have to do is adjust the fts and rts to what you want. You won't regret it. I didn't do the rails. I just did fts, limiter strap and anti stab. Do it!

did you do the khaos rts spring? i heard its a different spring rate than a pro
I didn't do anything to my rts, but I also had a Exit rts. I always do something to my track shocks. Weather it's sending them in to get revalved for my weight and rididing style. or buy aftermarket shocks. Worth every penny, so sorry I can't answer that question, but there are a lot of people that didn't do anything to there rts.
I've done the khaos conversion (longer FTS, rails) on 2 different axys sleds now. Using the pro rear spring I like that setup better than both the stock pro and the stock khaos. Kind of a happy medium. More playful but can still keep it pointed on rowdy climbs.

thats exactly what im going for haha ive got a matryx slash 2.75 with the new drivers and anti stab, im trying to figure out if the raptor axys conversion will work or if i have to actually find factory parts.

I disagree you must not ride where it’s steep. That’s where you notice difference between pro and Khaos
I've done one with an longer shock eyelet (longer walker evans eyelet, not raptor) and one with a longer khaos built shock. Similar outcome.
could easily just be how the shocks were setup. Lots of variables.
I just threw the 210 spring from RMK on my 155 Khaos. Gonna see if it helps keep front down in steeper areas.

Anyboby do the shock eye, limiter strap and anti-stab AND relocate the front torque arm to the lower "assault" position? I'm happy with the improvement to the sled just wondering if I could get more out of it
