163 track on 165 skid?

Looking at swapping tracks on my 165. I'd really like to go with a polaris 2.6 163 track. Anyone tried going down to a 163? Enough adjustment on the rear axle to get by?

Worst case you need to move you back axle ahead 1” do you have room to move it that much

You will need to change drivers!! The tracks have different pitches that is why the 163 ended up as a 165

I know I'll need the correct drivers ibe swapped many tracks and skids many times but always used a track that matched the skid or a track longer then the skid and set the skid back. my only concern is the length of the rails. But I bit the bullet and ordered a camso 300lx track to go with this 165 skid going in an 06 rev

Hopefully the 300LX is more durable than the OEM Doo 3" track!

I just swapped out my '21 Expert track with 1200 miles this fall, for a Camo Extreme instead. So far I like it...
