I'd love to hear a layman's explanation (non-Polaris word salad) of the differences between these two and why choose one over the other?? It seems like there are so many similar options that I'm having decision paralysis.

they put extroverted drivers and an anti stab with the 2.75, plus they increased the durability of the track. The 3" is actually a 162 and is a 3" pitch. 165 is 3.5 pitch. The 165 is slightly lighter weight. Past that i dont have any first hand experience, i know here in idaho most people dont like the 3" polaris track and in the past everyone got the 2.6. The 2.75 tracks seem to be well liked as well except the ratcheting issues.
