  • I've received emails and PM's asking me about "Group Buys" and promotions.

    A Group Buy here on SnoWestOnline.com would be a situation where a normal member (non vendor or mfg) personally collects orders from other members. That member then uses those orders to negotiate a better price with the Vendor/Mfg for HIS/HER "Group" of buyers.

    Here is an example of a viable "Group Buy"


    A promotion that has the words "Group Buy" in the title is still a promotion, and from the rules that were handed down to me by Harris Publications is that non-advertisers cannot run promotions or open sales programs on the forums outside of the swapmeet.

    If a members wants to become a group buy manager, maintain a thread and collect the funds and negotiate a group buy... as a member, you are welcome to do that as long as you are not attached to the business of the vendor or Mfg.

    If you are a vendor/MFG and you want to offer an EXCLUSIVE "SnoWestOnline ONLY" promotion that is exclusive to snowest readers, please contact me and you'll be able to put it up in the Polaris forums.

    Also, before any vendors/mfgs get all "riled up" over this know that the moderators are strictly volunteers and do not receive a dime from any advertising $$ spent on this site.

    As ALWAYS, since DAY ONE of me becoming a moderator, I have pioneered, supported and encouraged vendors and mfgs in getting the word out to our readers with "New Product Announcements.

    From this point on, all vendors/mfg's promoting Pre-Season tiered sales programs, in the Polaris Forums, that are not paid advertisers will be appropriately moved to the swapmeet section of the forums.


15 pro 800 silber turbo

I swapped a silber external wastegate turbo kit with reflashed ecu. The other the sled I put to stock seems to run fine but mine with turbo wont fire and when it does it dies immediately or will idle too high and die if you touch the throttle like hitting the kill switch. I dont think it's the throttle safety switch as I used a resistor plug that bypasses it for a munster throttle. I swapped obviously the exhaust, air box injectors map sensor coolant hose clutching the hoses in the tank oil lines and the ECU. I dont know if I've missed something as the instructions on silbers website and the one or two videos I saw are different setups. I've taken to the dealer to have it scanned nothing came up and tps seemed fine. I've emailed silber multiple times but the most I got back was have you had it scanned by a dealer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I dont trust any of the three closest dealers to touch my sled after previous experiences.

were the sled's the same year that you swapped ecu's? There is a sticker on the ecu which states what color injectors it is programmed for, make sure that the new sled has the correct color injectors for the ecu.

Edit- I just saw that this is for a '15, I'm not sure if they have different injectors like the axys.

Check all wiring connectors, check the pins on the ecu make sure theres no bent ones. Swap ecu with the running sled see if the sled will run with the other ecu in it. 13-15 ECU's are interchangeable with the turbo set up just need to have them flashed for proper injector color and turbo. There isnt really anything with the turbo except the ecu that would cause the sled to not run.
