15 m8000 3 cups oil in crank case

It got a mess hood rode in pour down rain in January rode fine , never took off truck went 2 days later wouldn't start in parking lot, did compression test one cylinder 90 bibs
Rode the 19 alpha rest of the year, 2 weeks ago got cylinders of a lot of oil in crank case, one piston got scratched and cylinder, going to do top end put worried about extra oil in crank case

I have used paper towel (good quality thick) to soak up excess oil in crankcase. If still concerned afterwards, make sure you pull sled over many times before putting spark plugs in to help it not hydraulic on you when you go to start it later. Will smoke for a while for sure. Won't hurt anything and will help for break-in. Make sure that isnt antifreeze down there or it will really smell and smoke bad on startup and be harder to keep running for a while.

Use a hand soap pump with a long straw on it you can put it in beetween the crank lobe to pump out the oil
