Have any of you noticed delamination or separation of the belt?
My buddies came apart and now mine is.
Not sure if we got a bad batch or if this is how this belt is?
Can't really tell until u lift the top of the belt.View attachment 370224View attachment 370225

Been riding for 30yrs, ~25k miles, 40+ belts, only ever had one other belt do this.Belt is Worn out and has been overheated.
@TRS was sanding the material above the cog low points back to help keep the belt from overheating at the strings.

My cats would burn up belts every 200-300 miles and the belts wouldn't seperate like this.
~500mi on this belt.

X2. I can't make a belt last longer than 300 miles and thats lucky. 150 miles is pushing it for race gas turbo tss04 track screws. At 500 miles I’d say you got plenty of use out of it.
Try sanding the next belt so the top cogs don’t touch the sheaves.
Heat usually is what makes the glue let go.
I had the razorback on my last proclimb chassis. It was hard to get 300mi on all my zuke powered sleds. If there was 18" or more new snow, it would run 220°'s on flat ground.X2. Anyone using these fancy ir heat radar jobbies for measuring belt temp? Thinking about ordering a new Koso x2 boost and just using that plus belt temp and two or three other 2.125 or 2 5/8" holes for lightweight mechanical Guages

The ascender chassis however, its easy to get 1,200+ mi on a belt (only 1,100mi on the Primary though lol). I was hoping that the Khaos with TRS clutching would net me 1,000+.
My buddy had his 1183 delamination happen at 250mi, then second belt has over 600mi without issue.
Maybe i should go back to the 1216 belt?
I only put 50-70mi on the original belt before i went with TRS clutching and 1183 belt.
I'll take a temp gun with me and try to work the sled today and see what the temps are.
Yes, and yes.Have you checked alignment?
Set belt to sheave clearance?
