I have a 07 M7 with a aftermarket can on it & was wondering if it would work on the M1000 or would it cause to much back pressure do to inlet & exit diameter? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't do it. The M1000 pipe outlet and overall design is much different.
FYI the M7 was only made in 2005 and 2006 model years.

Is 3400 a good deal for a 08 m 1000 only has 900 miles on it thanks

That seems like a pretty good deal if the miles are down & true. I just picked this one up for $1500 with 1700 miles. The M7 I got for $200 as a parts sled. They took the oil injection off & his buddy filled it up with unmixed. I was going to rob parts but I think I'm gonna get the cylinders redone. It my be a 06, I didn't get any paperwork with it.
