07 D7 service engine light?

I was riding yesterday and when ever I started my machine, the gauge would flash service engine for like 3-5 flash then go out. However the check engine light never came on. Plenty of oil and coolant. The sled only has about 320 miles on it. Could this be something that is programed to come on at a certain amount of hrs on the engine?

Your service interval has been surpased on your mfd. You can go in and lengthen out the time by 20 hr increments with the mode/select switch on your handlebars. I believe the instructions are in the owners manual.

Just go to the service screen and hold down the menu button and you can change it to whatever hrs you want. Nothing to worry about.
