So I need to replace my engine. It is the carburetor model. So just wondering if I buy an efi engine am I going to have any compatibility issues. Thanks for any help

The stators are different

That shouldn't matter as long as it has the same connector though right? I'm more concerned about the intake. Like will my carb boots from my old motor work with an efi model engine?

You should be more concerned about wiring harness, just rebuild your carb engine. You'd need a harness,stator,ecu,regulator, 46mm throttle bodies, reed blocks, air box boot .....
