05 900 159 skid installed on 03 800 rmk 144?

I'm looking to swap the skid and track off my 05 900 rmk 159, to my 03 800 rmk 144, anyone try this? the 144 track is toast,and I have this 05 900 that I'm going to part out. Thought it would be a cool project, any tips would be greatly appreciated!

You will need a tunnel extension kit.

My old 03 151 rmk had 159 rails under it with D&R and big wheel kit, 162" track on it. I have sold it but have a few pics if needed. Just letting you know it can be down and didnt seem like much effort except the D&R would have been some work.

Did you do the D&R yourself? debating it on my 04

159 swap done yet ?

It will work fine did this to 2 of my Edges. I believe one of them was a 144 originally the other a 151. Might just use the rails and transfer the suspension off the Edge , can't remember. Measure the tunnel mount points of the Skid
front to rear if the same just bolt the skid in. Worst part is the Chain case drivers removal but it actually just busy work

Or if you have bailed on the 159 Mod and the 159 Track is a good one I would buy it from you.

Just finished install on my sled, swapped my entire 144 suspension over to the 159 rails, with some help from a fellow member here I drilled new holes in the tunnel to locate the skid back a hole in the front and the hole was already in place on the rear bracket, installed a 163" x 2.4 track using an 8" big wheel, with no D&R it's a tight fit but anything under a 2.4 should fit easily
