Hey guys, does anyone know the distance from rail to rail on the xc edge chassis? I'm making my dad a 2 wheel axel for the skid but I forgot to measure. Any help would be much appreciated.

You can adjust that distance by plus or minus 1/2" or so. It is around 48" out to out on the skis and the skis vary in width depending on the year, and depending on whether they are symmetrical.

Most all twin rail sleds have the same distance. Hence all tracks are interchangeable .

Unless u have a firecat, real old sled or some other basturd sled.

~8.75" inside of rails.
~4.375 center on the wheels

I believe that you will need 4 wheels instead of 2 wheels. You would not be using a common axle for both steering spindles otherwise you could not turn it.
