Default Clutch Tool

Is it the same bolt to take off the primary clutch on a 2015 800 etec as a 2006 800?

Default Tool

Dennis Kirk shows the same tool ZX through XM. I can verify ZX through XP from personal use, so it looks more likely than not.

The ETEC puller is shorter at the tip.
Other than that they are identical. A older 800 puller can be shortened about 3/8" off the tip to ensure adequate thread contact to avoid stripping the threads...and it will still also work on non-ETEC.

You already own the best clutch removal tool- the bolt itself. Water and Teflon tape; plus your clutch bolt, is easier and quicker than any puller I’ve used.
