Question Lights blew when turning off hand warmers?

Hi guys,

Went for a morning ride today at -30c on my old panther 370. I let the machine warm up for over 20 minutes as it was so cold today.

Had a weird problem. As I got going I had my headlights on and hand warmers turned on. When I flicked off the hand warmers both my headlights blew!

Any ideas what could have caused this?

First snowmobile so sorry if this is a naive question.

Thanks for all the help guys. This forum is invaluable to a new guy like myself.

Cheers from Northern Alberta.
