Looking for help with my sled build. I️ am trying to wire a 1990 xlt 540 cdi to 1983 sry 440 motor gonna upload pictures, but problem being I️ wired up to what I️ think is the right way. But when fired up I️t runs in reverse. Went over everything timing wise and came to conclusion that the cdi won’t work or I️ haven’t bypassed the tors properly. To my understanding srx didn’t have tors. Am not a Yamaha guy but give a lot of respect to there motors. So if anyone has knowledge wiring these sleds please pass on your wisdom. Oh and this motor is in a 1974 ski doo tnt and has a mikuni for carb so bypassing the tors at throttle body and carb is not a option.

1974 ski doo tnt
-440 fan motor
-mikuni carb
-144 arctic cat track
-7” plastic skis mounted to leafs
-2” riser on skis
-cat bars
-atv seat and fabricated seat framing
-tapered tunnel
-geared down
-machined new shaft to fit cat cogs
-in process of redoing hood with led light
