Hey guys,

Quick preview of our new Skidoo Gen 4 rear Exo Bumper. Contoured to fit the tunnel shape with a 90 degree lip at the bottom for added rigidity. 1 1/4'' tubing for comfortable grip. This will be available very soon on bmfabrications.com. We are working as fast as possible to get the full line of parts for this sled ready to order! Stay tuned, wont be long. -Matt

That bumper looks sick! I looked on your site and couldn't find information on running boards. Is that something that will be available for the 850 this year? The x model boards are an improvement, but are still too wide and lack rigidity for me.

Yes. Working on them currently as well. Hopefully by Christmas they will be ready.

How soon till they will be ready? And I'm assuming you will have them in different colors? Will a front bumper be available as well?

Just curious, but do you have any specs on the boards yet?

The Gen 4 need a set of narrow boards now! Hehe.... :face-icon-small-hap

Soon.

I'm in desperate need for one of these rear bumpers! The SkiDoo bumper did NOT survive early season tailstanders! Please reserve one for me!

Should be ready to roll next week. Waiting on laser cutting right now.

Fronts are a challenging one....hopefully have the details up this week yet.

Well it's almost Christmas...any updates on the boards? Stock boards suck, especially in the front by the chaincase and the brake. Rear portion of X boards have plenty of traction.

Is your riser inline or rolled forward? I find myself back where the extrusion starts most of the time. Other than them being 2 inches too wide, in front, they haven't bothered me.

I'm also one of those guys that can't wait for new boards. I have a low rise in line with the steering post. My feet are all up in that front area. I really don't think I even use the back 12" of the stock boards. I would personally be happy with something 2" narrower on each side and at least 6" taken off the back. Nobody really needs boards as wide as the stock are. The only thing they're doing is hurting performance. Luckily I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I have it inline and yes when climbing and etc, the boards are pretty good, just the 40% of the time when more forward. Just annoying that they didn't engineer to have the extruded boards all the way forward. Why half *** it if your going to do it. I bought the X for the boards and they are pretty disappointing. I guess I got spoiled on my XM w/ skinz air frames.
