Lightbulb SnoWest-Forums - AXYS-MOUNTAIN TECH LINKS

So that we don't have a bunch of "Stickies" for tech threads and information.

I'm pulling them all together here in one place which will eliminate a lot of searching and put the info within easy reach.

If you have a favorite tech Threads or parts-source threads.
These are for SNOWEST PRO-RIDE Forum threads ONLY> NO outside links and no comments.

If you have something that you want to be put up... Post it up here with:
1) Title of the Thread
2) Description of the contents of the thread
3) Link to that thread.

I will come back here from time to time and move your info into the second post here and will then delete your post... this will keep the thread clean.

Thanks for your help!!

Axys exhaust valve cleaning.
Not sure if you want this here. Not sure you even want to hear this but I'll offer up my experience. Your milage may vary.
Being careful not to move the adjustment of the cable when removing and replacing the cover for the exhaust valve assembly, I pulled the exhaust valves took them off the assembly one at a time. Cleaned them and replaced them making sure they moved freely in the exhaust valve slots.
Rode the sled pretty hard yesterday and it run great no codes no problems, sled run great. Thought I would throw this out there. Like I said though "your mileage may vary."
Mountainhorse please post this where you think it might need to be. Thanks.

As we all know, there is no external fuel filter on the Axys RMKs, there is a filter in the tank that's part of the fuel pick-up unit.

The part number is: 2205618

At Babbits (online), it costs around $123 + shipping for the pick-up unit which includes the filter.
