The bars are already very sloppy on our 2013 1100, and its hardly been ridden. The bushing they have at the top is a joke, is there any solution to this, any home built, or aftermarket upgrades.

Thanks

Mine was the same. Had the hood took off lastnight and there were no nuts on the top bracket.put two nuts on, tightened and now it's good with no sloppy play

Wildchild has his bushing done, which gets rid of side to side slop, and Zbros now makes a T top that gets rid of the POS adjustable riser now.

Those two fixes... and that setup will be rock solid!

It appears that this application is for the adjustable pro climb post-
at least it states that. are the vertical and adjustable post taking the same bushing?

S/C

That is how I read it also. Seemed like that was the bushing for the adjustable setup, unless they use the same bushing?

From Kurt / Wildchild

"Hi Quintin,

Right now all I have is for the adjustable post system.

I'll be working on the vetrtical post bushing in the new years to see if I can make improvments on it.

thanks

This ended up being my problem as well. The lower bracket had NO nuts on the bolts securing the assembly to the sled. Figured it out last weekend on the trail. 1/2 an hour at a Ace hardware and was good to go again.

Nuts

Is there an issue (factory mishap)with these nuts coming loose then falling off? I was missing one on my 2012 1100t also

2013 HCR. Had same issue no nuts. How are new locking nuts coming right off. I can see coming loose, but not right off. Maybe this is something the dealers should be looking at. Steering post was sloppy from day one.
