2004 rev pull recoil bolts pitted out. Need best solutions.

I have a 2004 Rev Mxz 800 and since I have redone the top end of the motor with double ring pistons I replace the recoil every year and now the two bolts that hold the plastic housing on are pitted out and need advice on the best solution for a fix??

Should I re tap them or should I try to use two bolts and nuts? Any advice?

Bolts

Use the same diameter bolt 10mm longer with a nut on the other side. Little blue loctite, No worries!
