Track adjustment (1999 Phazer 500's)

I have 4 -1999 Phazer 500's. 2 long, 2 short. I havent adjusted my tracks for a long time. It was done by the dealer for about 3-4 years after purchased new. Do tracks get tighter or looser with age?

I guess I should buy a scale and get these sleds up and see where I'm at. Where do you get a scale?

the tracks should be adjusted. i think its 1.5 inches with 22lbs on the track. you can just push down on the track and estimate 22lbs. if it ratchets its to loose. remember to loosen the axle nut before adjusting. and tighten it back up.
