This product allows the use of a mechanical boost gauge without the hassle of unscrewing a hose out of the back of a gauge whenever you take your hood off. Simply pinch the two sides and it comes apart. These disconnects have been tested to 34 lbs of boost and 300 Deg F. The barbs are 3/16".

I need one of those on the lines for my boost controler. The tubing is so tight that I have a hard time getting the nipple to "slip" in the tubing so the setting doesn't change. This thing might do the trick.
