I have a 2008 RMK 700 163"

I have heard of people referring to their 2010 RMK Sway bar's as being "detachable" but when I look at the schematics and part number they are the same. Can anyone tell me if the newer sway bars are any different.

The reason I'm asking is because I'm in the middle of doing a A-Arm replacement and need to know If I should upgrade to the newer set-up.

The sway bars are the same. You can detach both 09 and 10's.(you have to remove a bolt) If you are changing your a-arms to accept the new sway bars you can buy a kit from carls cycle and leave your existing a-arms. Its a great kit and it works well.

it is only on the 09 and 10 dragons(swaybar mnts in front of the a-arms and points rearward)..rmks and shifts use the 08 swaybar setup(bar mnts behind a-arms and points forward....)

You will have to call carls and talk to Chris....front mount sway works great
