Why is my rep power red and long? and why is it 0? and how do i change it? red can not be good

It seems that somebody didnt like what you posted and gave you negative rep. If you have 0 rep and get a negative it makes it all red like that or if you have little rep and an user with high rep dissaproves and gives you red it can take a while to go green again. Post helpful stuff and you will get out of the red.
