200 polaris 700 info needed

I picked up a 2000 polaris 700 at the end of the season last year and it seemed to run good but when I would get stuck and got a good load on it it would bog down and didn't want to run and and I would have to feather the throttle of and on to get it to clean out I'm guessing its jetting but not positive just wondering if anyone had some suggestions before I tear into it I also was wondering if anyone would know what kind of jetting I should be running the sled has a boost bottle and a single SLP pipe and I run between 6000 and 10,000 feet also any problems with this sled anyone knows of would be helpful also thanks for any feed back.

yeah iv got a 2000 sks 700 and mine has the same problem. im not 100% but i think its due to unbalanced air presure in the carbs... i have no idea what the jetting its for that altitude. my jets are 195s but i live in the prairies so altitude is low... and im not even sure if thats the right jet. but if anyone knows... fell free to help me out here. i also just put a high flow slp air intake and vforce2 reeds on mine because i was told by a polaris guru that it helps alot. but theres no snow so i dont know how much it helped with loading up problem, on the stand it seems to be WAY better but that with no load on it of course.

are you letting it idle and then it's that way or when you are running it hard

2000 700

Thanks for the info that will be a good starting point I also thought that maybe the compression might be low so I put a gauge on it and ea cylinder has between 110-115 psi which doesn't seem to bad for a motor which I have been told is on its stock cylinders and pistons but would like to know if that is good compression or not thanks for any replies.

my sled is 120 in each hole and runs great. mine is a 600 tho. 115 sounds okay to me.

Mine had 135 2100 miles on it my wifes has 140 and it has 600 miles on it so I would say that is a little weak. Also are holding the throttle wide open and pulling till the gage will go no more, and you should check the compression at operating temp.

Thanks for the info guys decided to give the sled a once over today pulled the carbs to clean and was checking the cables and looked down and the oil cable was broken so the oil pump was wide open all the time so I'm guessing this might be my problem.

i tried a slp boost bottle on my sleds and that helped all around throttle response but the oil pump cable would explain all..

What is the elevation where you are compression testing? Next remove the ACCS when it starts going bad it will run like crap. Also when it loads up how is the snow condition, it could be starving for air if the intske is blocked. Another simple check is your belt, is it smoked? Start with the simple things and move forward.

I am up about 5000 feet I talked to Tri City Polaris they said 115 is good at this elev. I have checked the air box and the carbs for air restrictions and the belt I bought new when I picked up the sled but will give it a look I need to clean the clutches also. Now its a waiting game for the snow. Thanks for all the help.

Just tore through my 2000 7 last year new engine top to bottom Mine still loads up like your talking about when I get stuck you hit the throttle and it bogs like the track is stuck on something the if you pick up the back end and slam it down a couple of times and then get it started moving by pushing it gets up and takes off like a prom dress. It will also do it on cold mornings at the cabin I'll have to rock it side to side to get her moving???

I have psi twins, someone told me clutches so I replaced both this year took it up for a road ride last week it boggs a little on start up but once the sled is in motion man the thing ripped hit high 70's at 8150"

Well since you talked to Tri City Im guessing Bountiful area or Springville I went up bountiful last night Really muddy but there is 6 inches at the top that you can test on.
