I don't see how this would work w/o rolling it over as the rings - like the caps, will bleed off compression while sitting too. It takes more than just fuel and spark, you need at least 100# compression.

Add to that the fact that a 2 stroke has a bunch of holes in the cyl wall....

Don't see how it would work on a 4 stroke w/o rolling it over through the intake cycle either.

Guess what.... I do automotive and motor sports performance for a living! I dont label myself as an engineer, but I do that kind of stuff all the time.

My Ford Fusion Hybrid has it, you wouldn't know when it switches from electric mode to the engine except for the gauge on the dash, totally seemless.
