smart carb disable or delete?

I had issues with my smart carbs, my dealer was switching them out to lectron carbs, gained a bit of performance and you had to rejet.
How expensive was the swap?? My sleds are high miles but solid...just can't get them to run right...good one day terrible the next.

Just find a set of carbs and CDI from any 97-98 600 SX. XT, XTC or venture. Should be pretty easy and cheap to find.
why do you need the cdi??

I just remember seeing 2 CDI's on the smart carb models, but the standard one is the same so you don't need it. Just a set of carbs.
This was a few years ago so its probably cheaper now, but I think it was about 400, I can't recalla what size carbs there swapping to either, if your willing to.go this route I can call him up and find out.
