Just fab up a couple of 1/4" aluminum plates same as the factory extensions on the Enticer II .... just did this to a couple of our old Ovations to run 121" tracks instead of the 116 stock tracks.

I actaully have a Phazer I have done this to already. I bought a wrecked one and swapped over the whole rear skid. I will try to get a couple pics. It is still a work in progress.

I have a used 136'' track removed from a '93 Exciter that would work. I also have some extensions that would work. Pm me if interested.

i looked in a western power sports catalog and ordered up rail extensions that were the correct length for my 133 conversion, and it worked perfectly.
136-116=20"/2=10"
the catalog should list some extensions for yamaha that offer 10 or so inches of length. Like 136-156 extensions. WPS extensions can be mounted like an inch forward or back, if you dont get it right the first time.
I think WPS also had the 136 tunnel extension i used. Very basic, and i had to paint it to match. i threw away the original pz bumper and bolted one up off another sled.
i wont do another tunnel ext. on one of these....too much work, when a 121 1.25" track will go on in 1/3 of the time without the tunnel ext, and works so darn well...
good luck

Just about wrapped up on a "home-build" Van-Amburg "style" tunnel mod on my 1992 Exciter. Cut the rear tunnel up and had my own tunnel extension fabbed up. Sled is down at the shop getting tuned... will throw up some pics when she gets home.

WOW! Forgot about this thread! Thought this would be buried 10 pages down! Threw the exciter on the backburner waiting for the money to recover the seat. Tunnel extension is laying next to it... guess I better get on it, eh?

Well?? Any pics??

I'm thinking of throwing a Phazer suspension and track on my 81 Enticer. I need more travel and a longer track.

This was probably the FIRST mod I ever attempted back in the day. The track is what will be your issue. The drivers on the old Enticers wont match the 2.52 you'll find on most all tracks. (tracks that WILL MATCH will all have the small lugs) You cant switch drivers because the axle shaft is square where most evrything for the next 20 years was "hexagonal". I had (and still do) an old Phazer suspension and I bought a 1" ski-doo track to put in the Enticer. It was past my capabilities.... I cant say as to yours? A chaincase install will be tough to align with the jackshaft... and it goes on from there. Probably not worth the effort when you can pick Phazers up for less than $800.00.
