how do you get the primary off after you take the nut and outer sheave off.
feels like the inner sheave is stuck and will not pull off.does any buddy have a
factory manual

After you take the nut and outer sheave off there is a sleeve that slides over shaft, pull it off its about 1 1/2'' long,Now the sheave should have some movement. There is a plate behind the sheave that is splinded on the shaft Thats what is hangin up. Then get your hand on the back side of the plate and wiggle it side to side. It should come off.

There is also a starter clutch behind that with no keeper on it so it can slide off with the clutch. When I pulled the primary off, the starter clutch came off too and dropped parts. Fortunately I had my hand under it to catch the parts. Easy enough to put back together if you have all the parts.
