How much life is left in your opinion in a 15 m8000 with 4400 miles. All tree riding, always dealer maintained (for what it's worth), new clutches 300 miles ago, recent tune-up/check-up & warranty until 2019.

Depends on the price. I look at sleds like I look at Motorhomes, there's so many with low miles why buy one with high miles unless it's dirt cheap. Not too many people looking to buy one with 4,400 when there are ton's with around 1000.
What you save in price difference on the high miler will probably cost you more in break downs and repairs.
Sorry that is $9000CAD
Here is my dilemma guys: this upcoming winter will be my first season riding the mountains. I don't know how often I will be able to ride. That makes me a bit reluctant to spend a bunch of coin on the sled. Although I would LOVE to have the latest and greatest. Also I think the release of the long awaited 800 ctec will cause the current newer sleds to lose in value. My thinking is buying a cheaper sled will cost me less dollars in lost re-sale value. But then I don't have to garage to work on the sled and popping open the chaincase or doing topend rebuilts outside does not sound appealing to me. Can you tell I'm torn?
For what it's worth I sold my 2014 162 with a ton of extras( jaws single pipe, 3" powerclaw, 36" front end, a never ending list really)
The sled has 4000 miles on it and I let it go for 5300 Canadian last spring, I had zero interest in the sled locally and had to ship it to the states to make the sale. I'm not sure what the 15 with 4400 miles is selling for but I wouldn't pay a dime over $5000
