not sure it get too deep... that part of Norway is known for RAIN!!! but think some do ride in that area, but not close to the sea... higher up in the mountains i would guess. But let me say, I haven't been there in the winter... so might be wrong

somethings you could find near Alesund or on your way to Alesund...

Norway is 6 km's on its narrowest, but the road is i guess 4000 km's from north to south...
