Skis Up is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 154 19 Alpha Track Speed

What Top speed across a flat with 8-10 inches of loose snow would I expect out of a 2019 154 Alpha.
and or hardpack

We all line'm up on the lake even if its deep.

Remember in the days you used to take a 900 Cat and produce those speeds in about 300+ ft. with a 2" track. Boy times have changed with a 2.6" track +!

I enjoy racing my friend across lakes. You can always tell when they hit about 80MPH...just look for track paddles exiting the back of the tunnel.

Top speed should be about the same as 2014/2015, 2017mtn cat-2019mtn cat.
They all have the same gears and similar driver diameter. Only difference is overdrive.
Expect about 75mph. U may get up to 80mph.
Polaris and ski-doo will have a higher top speed.

Polaris

Yes. It is geared way too high. I haven't seen a need for a mountain sled to go 55mph.
